As the working day winds down, Kevin Lee is here to get Greater Manchester home with three hours of brilliant music, good humour and genuinely great company.
Kevin’s career has taken him down several very different roads — quite literally. Before joining Nifty UK Radio, he entertained holidaymakers in the Canary Islands, spent years teaching learner drivers how to survive roundabouts, reverse parking and the occasional white-knuckle test route, and even ran his own radio station.
These days, Kevin has swapped the passenger-side pedals for the Drive-Time studio, bringing his warm personality, relaxed presenting style and love of great music to Nifty UK Radio every weekday from 4pm.
According to Big Al, Kevin is “one of the nicest guys on the planet” — although Kevin has yet to confirm how much he paid him to say it.
Whether you’re stuck in traffic, finishing work, cooking the tea or simply enjoying the afternoon, Kevin provides the perfect soundtrack. Expect famous tunes, big sounds, plenty of variety and the sort of friendly company that makes the journey home feel a little shorter.
Kevin understands that Drive Time should be fun, upbeat and easy to listen to. There’s no shouting, no unnecessary nonsense and absolutely no learner-driver dual controls — just proper music, entertaining conversation and a presenter who sounds like an old friend from the moment you tune in.
